As part of the Group’s strategy to diversify its portfolio, it entered the water and wastewater sector in 2012 through the acquisition of an established local operator. That move set the stage for the Utilities Division to establish itself as a key player in the water/wastewater market, both domestically and across the region.
The Division delivers comprehensive services to private companies and municipalities alike, covering everything from engineering, procurement and construction through to testing and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants, plus related supporting projects.
Looking ahead, the Division is broadening its footprint into fast-growing ASEAN economies, with a view to securing further contracting and concession opportunities.
